So I read a bunch of Tank Girl comics

As is evidence from my previous post, I have been having fun with animation, and I have cooked up some characters that I want to make cartoons of. Story time!  This started with a sketch I posted before, of a girl mechanic who works on big bad war robots.  Eventually the evolution of her character had her being a punk who grew up hard in steampunk gangland, and joined the army to get out of the criminal factory, and get ahead in life.  Tough girl worked her way up to being the best and boss of the battalion's team of gearheads.

Oh! Side note.  I called the robot, a Centurion battle chassis, equipped with what the crew call Zeus' oven mitt. All the firepower of the god of lightening, all the dexterity of an oven mitt.

Quick Dialog

Well, it's been roughly forever since I animated anything, so I was how you say, ah yes, rusty as hell.  Turns out, I really enjoy this 2d animation stuff.  And will be doing more of this. 

The sound clip is from the movie Thor.  I tried to make it sound more like a girl voice, but I'm no sound engineer, and the original sound clip from a frost giant who sounded super low and growly. Think, if Barry White was a frozen linebacker. I did what I could.  Whatev.

Hand full of sketches

Here is a bunch of the sketches that have built up in my book.  I had some fun with these ones.

I have started naming alot of the characters I draw.  Sometimes before I get started, when it's just an idea, but more often I have come up with the name halfway through the drawing when things start to come together.

This one is "The Chieftain's Only Daughter".  Like a boss.

This one I didn't name.  But I have been drawing alot of cyborg girls recently.

I want to get back into traditional animation so I'm experimenting with characters to work with.

 Some doodles.  That's a close fitting space suit idea.

 I really like this one.  She's "the Blade Queen, with Kraken Armour".  Blade Queen sounds kinda cheesy now that I think of it, but whatever, still works.  She has blades, and only a rockstar could fight with four swords, and that armour without slicing bits of herself off in the process, thus, promoted to Queen.

Evil samus

So, I just started drawing some chick with funky armour on, but when I took a step back and looked, it had kind of a samus from metriod shape. It didn't really look anything like her beyond rough proportions, but whatever. It's my picture, and I'm calling it evil samus. Also, not the best quality pic, but it's the first time I'm posting from my phone. Thought I'd give it a try.
