Figure Drawings

I'm posting something different today.  I have been practicing figure drawings for a while now with the intention of speeding up.  I always feel like I'm going too slow.  These are done with a timer, so I'm forced to keep up the pace.  Some of these are 6 minutes some are 11 minutes.  All the practice has been really helpful.

I hope you like them.

That's all for now.  Have a day. . .
 . . . of some sort.
Good. . . Bad . .  . Meh. . . .
Whatevs.  Just don't die.

The Girl Valhalla Sent Back

Sasha is one of my favorite characters to draw.  It's fun to experiment with different styles and designs.  Her age fluctuates alot each time I draw her.  Maybe it's because I haven't even decided how old she is yet.  Well, I'll figure her design out eventually.  Still one of my faves.  Also! I should use ink more often.  It's fun, and a challenge, since I don't use it often.

She carries her weapon, a cleaver, holstered in a book that she's ducktaped closed and slung over her shoulder on a thin bit of rope.  It was one of the gifts she got from Odin when she was sent back from Valhalla.  She says it's made from a spark stolen from the sword that Surtr the fire giant is forging to burn the world on Ragnarok.  Unlike Thor's hammer, which always returns when it's thrown, she looses it all the time.  But she can always find it again when it's needed.

When the only suspect who has the info the police need to intercept calamity winds up dead, one detective, who's seen some shit, says "I know someone who might be able to help".
No one else can see what she sees. So, when she's trying to get answers, it just looks like a 12 year old lunatic threatening a corpse.  Until the corpse answers.
